Atelier Wen, best known for its signature “Perception” series, is an independent watch brand that harmoniously blends Chinese culture and traditional craftsmanship with Western design philosophy and thought. The brand was founded in Beijing in 2016 by Robin Tallendier and Wilfried Buiron, both originally from France.

This model features a hand-crafted guilloché dial, produced by China’s only master guilloché engraver. Each dial requires approximately eight hours of meticulous handwork, resulting in exceptional depth, precision, and character that can only be achieved through true artisanal craftsmanship.

The dial color, “Xia (霞)”, refers to the vivid golden clouds that appear shortly after sunset, capturing the moment when the sky glows with warm hues as daylight fades. The dial beautifully evokes the atmosphere of dusk, symbolizing the quiet transition at the end of the day.

The bracelet is equipped with a tool-free adjustable extension, allowing for easy sizing, and it can also be swapped for the rubber strap without the use of tools, making this a highly versatile and enjoyable timepiece to wear in a variety of situations.
